Béla Bezold designs eyewear that looks like it belongs to a decade that hasn't happened yet. With each piece 3D-printed, sculptural and entirely unique. This shoot was built around his newest collection ahead of its release; work unlike anything else currently on the market. We took it to the open dunes at The Hague beach, a landscape shaped by wind, to photograph pieces that already felt like they belonged outdoors.
Sunglasses stacked on top of each other, models with distant, dreamy expressions, the horizon doing half the work. I shot the campaign alongside visual storyteller Michelle Wambui Ernest, @my.eye, and stepped in front of the camera myself for a handful of frames. It was an effortless collaboration with genuinely lovely people, and kind of day that made the work easy to enjoy.
